Are these UUIDs truly random?
Yes. They use the Web Crypto API (crypto.randomUUID), the same cryptographically-secure source browsers use for security-sensitive work, so collisions are astronomically unlikely.
What version of UUID is this?
These are RFC 4122 version-4 UUIDs — the random variant used by most databases, APIs and programming languages by default.
