Agreement to Terms
By installing or using the YouTube Focus Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Extension. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Anwer Solangi ("I", "me", "the developer").
Description of Service
YouTube Focus is a free browser extension that blocks accidental keystrokes while YouTube or YouTube Kids is in fullscreen. It:
- Activates only while a YouTube video is fullscreen
- Blocks keys that would pause, seek, mute or exit the video
- Always lets the Escape key exit fullscreen
- Lets you choose which keys stay active from the extension popup
Not a Parental Control
The Extension reduces accidental interruptions. It does not filter content, limit screen time or restrict what can be watched, and it should not be relied on to supervise children.
License and Open Source
The Extension is free to use. Its source code is published on GitHub, and use of that code is governed by the license in the repository.
Trademarks
YouTube and YouTube Kids are trademarks of Google LLC. The Extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, and may stop working if YouTube changes its site.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE EXTENSION.
Changes to Terms
I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
