Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ReactTube ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Anwer Solangi ("I", "me", "the developer").
Description of Service
ReactTube is an open-source YouTube-style interface built with React Native to demonstrate mobile UI patterns. It includes:
- Video browsing, explore and library screens
- A comments view and user profile screens
- An earnings/analytics dashboard and login/register screens
ReactTube is a frontend demo. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube or Google, and it does not include a video backend.
Demo Content
Videos, channels, comments, earnings and other data shown in the App are sample content for demonstration only. Login and register screens are UI examples and do not create a real account with any service.
Open-Source License
The source code is published on GitHub. Your use, modification and redistribution of the code is governed by the license in that repository. These Terms cover the App as distributed as a downloadable build.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Present the App as an official YouTube or Google product
- Use the App or its code for any unlawful purpose
- Use YouTube's trademarks in a way that breaches their brand guidelines
Trademarks
YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. It is referenced only to describe the design the App is modelled on.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR ITS SOURCE CODE.
Changes to Terms
I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
